Rainbow Fruit “Spectakular”

Hi. My name is Maddie. When I grow up I want to make a pet day care place and be the owner. I also like to write. I have already written an entire collection of books called Ivy Kid. I am nine years old. I want to do a blog because I thought it would be fun, I like writing, and I have fun ideas to tell you about.

My first idea is a fun recipe. Here is what I like to eat:

Burritos, Shrimp cocktail, Watermelon, Peaches, Onions, Steak Fajitas, Calamari, Cherry Tomatoes, Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Chicken Wings, Hot Dogs, Cheeseburgers (from Burger King), Blackberries and S’mores. Aren’t s’mores like the best thing! Who doesn’t like s’mores?

Foods I don’t like: Pickles, Eggs, Blueberries and Stinky Cheese.

Since I love so many kinds of fruit I wanted to show you my Rainbow Fruit “Spectakular”! You can choose your favorite fruits for the colors of the rainbow. I chose Red: Watermelon, Orange: Oranges, Yellow: Pineapple, Green: Grapes, Navy: Blackberries (since the only blue fruit is blueberries and I don’t like them), Purple: Plums. Optional: Marshmallows for clouds. My mom forgot the grocery bag with the watermelon and pineapple in the car overnight so we used red apples and bananas instead. Also, I thought apricots looked better than oranges.

At the end of my blog posts I will let my brother Will (age 6) say something.

Words from Will: “I do not like tomatoes or ketchup. I only like ketchup with chicken fingers, corn dogs and french fries and NOT on grilled cheese. I like tooting in the bathtub.”

Next time I will tell you about party ideas.

From,

Mads
